- Pigging operations to ensure that the pipelines run smoothly. We introduce pipeline pigs as maintenance tools into the line via a pig trap. This includes a launcher and receiver. Then the pig is forced through the line without interrupting the flow. Pigs help sweep the line by scraping the sides and pushing the debris ahead, thereby clearing the lines.
